To whom it may concern:

Enclosed please find materials for the 2009 Jenny Lind Competition for Sopranos.  This competition will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the Salem Lutheran Church in Bridgeport, CT.  I hope that some of the students in your program will be interested in entering. The first prize is a cash award of $2000 plus numerous performing opportunities including a concert tour of Sweden in the summer of 2009.   

Please feel free to photocopy the application (all 6 sides, 2 of which need to be filled out and returned), and distribute it to your sopranos.  All of the information relevant to the competition is on this application.  The application and information are also available on our website at www.barnumfestival.com. Please note especially the application deadline of March 25, 2009.
